Pads Only or Pads and Rotors?
The decision is based on measured pad wear and the actual condition of your rotors — not a one-size-fits-all rule.
Four Mile Fork Garage does not resurface rotors. If your rotors are still serviceable, pads-only service may be appropriate. If rotors are worn, scored, heat-damaged, or otherwise unsuitable for continued use, we may recommend replacement.

We accept both appointments and walk-ins, subject to availability.
Most standard brake pad and rotor jobs can be completed the same day, depending on inspection findings and parts availability. We'll confirm timing with you before we start.
Limited Lifetime Brake Warranty
- Covers installed brake pads, rotors, and labor
- Valid for as long as you own the vehicle
- Covers defects in parts and workmanship
- Normal wear is not covered

Is the brake inspection free?
Yes. Our brake inspection is free and includes a test drive, brake pad thickness measurement, rotor condition check, caliper inspection, brake fluid inspection, and an overall braking performance review. You'll see the findings and total price before any repair begins.
Do you resurface rotors?
No. Four Mile Fork Garage does not resurface rotors. If your rotors are still serviceable, pads-only service may be appropriate. If rotors are worn, scored, or heat-damaged, we'll recommend replacement.
